Weekly Update

Attached is our updated AV for April 20, 2026.

Thanks so much for all the orders you have been sending in. We hope the season is going great for all of you.
Please remember to have your final order into us by 10:00am, the day prior to shipping. We can’t accept orders or order changes after this time.
We are still short two people and are struggling to keep up with the volume we are shipping.
For our retail customers, if you order something like “White Vinca” and it’s in good color, we are not going to tag every pot. We will tag the “fronts” that way your customers can have a souvenir tag to take home. When the volume slows back down, we will go back to tagging all the way through.
Please be aware that effective MONDAY, April 20 our delivery prices are increasing due to rising diesel and gas prices. We have absorbed these increases for the past five weeks, but after looking at our current fuel bill, we have no other choice. If you were paying $50.00, your new delivery fee is $60.00. If you were paying $75.00, your new fee is $90.00. We will continue to monitor the prices and adjust as we move forward.
The good news is that the weather is supposed to moderate some next week and we can get back to some cooler temps. The plants and us will appreciate this. If you know of a rain dance, please do it---- We all are in desperate need of rain!!

 As always, please pay close attention to our notes on the AV as this will tell you if the plant has color, buds, small, lmtd, etc.

Weekly Truck Line Up

Tuesday— North Coast, Greenville

Wednesday – Charleston, Charlotte

Thursday — South Coast, North Coast, Burlington, and Aiken/Augusta

Friday – Charleston, Columbia

When ordering from us, please note the following:

  • You must have your completed order and additions to us by 10:00am, the day before shipment or picking up. This allows us more time to pull your order and let you know if there are any issues with the order you placed with us. Please include a good phone number on your order so we can easily get in touch with you about any issues that may arise while pulling your order and any possible substitutions or shorts. Please email your orders to orders@hicottongreenhouses.net or you may fax them to 803-874-3533. If you have a specific question about our availability, please email your question to orders@hicottongreenhouses.net or you may call us at 803-874-4747. Please leave us a message if we are not able to answer the call and someone will return your call. 

  • For landscape delivery customers, we must have a good contact (phone number) of who is meeting the truck so our drivers can get in touch with that person. It is expected that a representative from your company meet our truck and help unload, count, and sign the invoice that everything is there and that there are no issues with counts, etc. Our drivers have limited time at each drop, so with help unloading and counting, they can make their other drops on time. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

  • For Pick up customers, we must have your order placed by 10:00am the day prior to you picking up. Do not come out to the greenhouses without placing an order before coming and expect to be able to pick up that day. We will gladly take your order and have it ready for you the following day. Pick-Up orders are usually ready by 9:30am. 

  • We charge a $50.00 minimum delivery fee on all delivered orders.  The delivery fee may be higher, depending on your location.  We require a $500.00 minimum order for delivery.  If this is not met, a $30.00 minimum order charge will be added on top of your order.  If paying by credit/debit card, we charge an additional 3% on top of the entire invoice total.
